1100-750 B.C. Here comes the story of the development of the sword in the Late Urnfield period.

ILLERTISSEN (Illertissen, Germany, c. 1200 -1000 B.C.)	Metal hilted sword type Dreiwulst. Tanged blade with ridged cross-section and ricasso, blade and hilt cast as separate pieces, bronze.
